In 1996 3Q Equestrian hosted its first ever International Showjumping competition, "The 3Q Invitational Challenge". With a generous amount of prize money to be won riders from Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Sweden and also home nation Malaysia were invited to compete on their own horses. The show was then run and organized by Dato' Fathil. The success of this show has encourage him to organize for the first time in Malaysia The Inaugural South East Asia World Cup League in 1997. With a number of riders from the South East Asia region participated to qualify for the World Cup Finals. The World Cup leagues and Nations Cup events were held in the year 97, 98, 2001, to 2003.



For three consecutive year 3Q hosted several prestigious International events such as, The Malaysian Open and also The Merdeka Masters. It was then organized by Quzier Ambak himself. These events are held prior to the preparation of our National Equestrian athletes towards The South East Asia Games 2005 and the Asian Games 2006. For the first time this year we see riders from Hong Kong on their own horses competing here.

During this events numerous young riders classes are held to improve and to find new young talents for the country's future Equestrian athletes. Top professional course builders were brought in to build International standard courses in these competitions, they are such as Frank Rothenberger and Warner Deeg from Germany,Ted Dwyer and Peter Cooke from Australia, Aki Yleene from Finland and Jurg Maurer from Switzerland. During this events several cultural shows, dog shows, brass band performance, chicken competition and fishing competition was also organized as part of an entertainment of the show. 3QE has been the meeting point for some of the best riders in the South East Asian and Pacific region to compete.
